Sierra Vista, Arizona (pop. 45,308 as of Census 2020) is the largest municipality in Cochise County, located about 30 miles south of Interstate 10, 75 miles southeast of Tucson, and 190 miles southeast of Phoenix. The city is home to Fort Huachuca, an active U.S. Army and joint services installation and the largest employer in southeast Arizona. Sierra Vista is a safe, affordable, and technology driven community, and is the commercial, education, and medical hub of southeast Arizona. In 2019, Sierra Vista ranked 4th in The Best of Arizona Business list of 'best places to live, work, and play' due to its affordable cost of living, higher than average household income, and climate.
